Tableware Haul Part 1

Tableware Haul Part 1

I never liked the shopping process – walking into Malls, jostling with the crowds, queuing to try on clothing, shoes, accessories. So over time, I was convinced that shopping would never be my thing.

It was only when we got our place, I realised that I loved shopping for homeware and kitchenware! All this while I was not enjoying the process simply because I wasn’t shopping for the right thing! Now I’m perpetually on the look out for beautiful plates and kitchenware especially when I travel.

Anyhow, I digress. In my bid to be more organised, I’ve started to document some of the things I’ve received/purchased for our new place. Here’s part 1:

Supermama HDB plates and saucers, gifted by my Sister.

Handmade blue-grey speckled ceramic dish, Seoul Dongdaemun Design Centre.

Little dragon Teapot, Ei-Long, Taiwan.

Spherical ceramic container, an upscale skincare boutique in Seoul. This was meant to store their soap.

Doi Tung x IKEA collaboration. I’m obsessed with this Thai homeware brand and their organic shapes and Colours.

Wooden plates from Bangkok, Chatuchak market. (The lily pad plate featured above is also from Chatuchak).
